| Autozone. I have this one from Harbor Freight, and it is a simple dial. I can't find any good pictures of it, but here is one that is similar: 
Couple ways to use it, but the easiest way is to shine the light on the crank, and dial the knob on the back of the light until the timing mark on the crank reaches TDC. Then read where the dial has wound up on the back of the timing light. Whatever you are reading on that dial is where your timing is set. There are also digital models as well, that do effectively the same thing. I wouldn't mind picking up one of those as well.
